The Petzel Gallery sculpture garden, situated on the 2nd floor of the gallery, is a private space to showcase artworks among nature. The garden is composed of grasses; Panicum Shenandoah’s, Little Bluestem’s, and Fountain Grasses that intertwine with perennial species; Baptisia, Aster’s, Solidago fireworks, Penstemoms.. and seasonal plants. The green space approximate 1,520 sf frames beautiful window views from the inside of surrounding office spaces. An important component of this space is the proximity to the Highline, and how pollinators come-and-go from green spaces to spread seeds vice-versa.
